Motorola Addressed Some Huge Issues With The New Moto E. Then Offered It For $130!

Motorola has done it again! While the company might be struggling a bit to find its place, its engineers sure have found their sweet spot. Offer Android phones, no, not Android phones like the rest of em, actual good Android phones, and do it at super low prices! If anyone can do it, Motorola can. And they have. Again!

You might recall when we discussed the Moto G, and now, meet the Moto E! The video below says it all but just in case you don’t have the 60 seconds to watch it, you can read the Verge review here. Or just the title: The Moto E is shockingly cheap and surprisingly good.

How shockingly cheap? $129 cheap. Subsidized, right? Wrong! That is the price OFF contract. “Ok, that cannot possibly be a decent phone at that price point!” Wrong again, you are not doing very well today!

It is running the latest version of Android Kitkat and Motorola guarantees automatic updates as they become available! Motorola claims this thing flies. “To back up its speed claims, Motorola has run comparisons between the Moto E and Samsung’s flagship phone for 2013, the Galaxy S4. Moto’s numbers show the newer handset is about a second quicker to answer calls or launch the browser and a whole 1.7 seconds faster in launching the camera app.”

Water resistant? Check! Scratch resistant with Gorilla Glass? Check! Customizable look and feel? Check! 4.3-inch display with 960 x 540 resolution? Check! Micro SD slot for expandable storage? Check! (Ahem, Apple)

Wait, how much is this phone again? Well played, Motorola! Well played…
