John Eastman is a writer and mixed media artist with over 25 years of hands-on business and entrepreneurial experience. He currently works and resides in a studio loft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and NYC. Mr. Eastman has exhibited and read in various galleries and exhibits in the region as an artist and writer.  Mr. Eastman is the founder of several businesses including Redfish Creative, a creative agency focused on delivering the best multimedia and content, and Black and White, an online publication offering interviews, essays, and reports, and Eastman Tribe, a site dedicated to art, furniture and objects. He is also the co-founder of SmallCap City, an online publication that focuses on small capitalized public firms, and writes for The Chairman's Blog, Motley Fool, Seeking Alpha, TalkMarkets and several other online and print publications. Mr. Eastman’s business background commenced in 1985 with the launch of a series of high tech, real estate, and design firms. He has extensive experience in banking and loan servicing, real estate property management and asset management, asset appraisal and valuation, Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and FDIC bank closure proceedings.less
