Insider buying declined sharply last week with insiders buying $56.48 million of stock compared to $165.25 million in the week prior. Selling also decreased with insiders selling $393.38 million of stock last week compared to $653.17 million in the week prior.

December E-mini S&Ps this morning are up +0.12% as prices recover slightly from Tuesday's slide, while European stocks are down-0.32% on global economic concerns after the IMF yesterday cut its global GDP forecast.

December E-mini S&Ps (ESZ14 +0.41%) this morning are up +0.40% and European stocks are up +0.77% on positive carry-over from yesterday's FOMC meeting where policy makes kept their pledge to keep interest rates near zero for a "considerable period" after completing asset purchases.

September E-mini S&Ps (ESU14 unch) this morning are down -0.08% and European stocks are down -0.26% ahead of the release of the minutes of the Jul 29-30 FOMC meeting later today.

A basic investment concept is to that high quality stocks fare better in down markets than low quality stocks, and therefore in late stages of a Bull market with generally fully valued stocks, tilting equity allocations toward high quality is prudent.
