Indian share markets witnessed positive trading activity throughout the day today and ended higher.

Just like the rest of global equity markets, 2021 has been a monumental year for Indian stocks and it culminated overnight with the nation's biggest ever IPO.

The S&P 500 was unchanged and the Nifty rose last week. Indicators are bullish for the week. Deflation is in the air.

Asian share markets opened lower today, but recovered some losses as inflation fears pressured and after data overnight showed US consumer prices surged at the fastest pace since 1990 last month.

Indian share markets are currently trading marginally lower. Benchmark indices have recovered from the day's low but still trading in red as energy stocks came under pressure.
