This week 380 publicly traded companies are reporting for the third quarter, 130 are S&P 500 constituents.

Not only did the large caps finally shows some vulnerability, but small caps are now looking like they are in a full-blown correction from their highs reached back in July.

Today I wanted to find the the large cap stocks with the best current momentum and charts. I used Barchart first to sort the S&P 500 Large Cap Index stocks having the most frequent new highs in the last month, then I used to Flipchart feature to review the charts.

Invest in high quality dividend paying companies that can manage their cash flow and payout ratio and be rewarded with constant dividend increases. A dividend increase is something every dividend growth investor can get excited about.

For me current momentum is one of the most important attributes of a great stock.
