Investors yanked $27.5 billion from Pacific Investment Management Co.’s flagship fund last month as the surprise exit of co-founder Bill Gross took its toll on the firm he co-founded, PIMCO.

The fallout from Bill Gross leaving PIMCO for Janus Capital Group has continued to spread through the financial community and ultimately generated a review from Morningstar of their flagship fund’s rating.
