The NYSE notified Radioshack that it is out of compliance with its listing requirements because its stock has been traded below $1 for 30 straight days. This will lead to a possible delisting in the coming year

RadioShack is down to their last $30.5 million in cash and are trying to utilize any strategy that will make the company stay afloat. It faces the possibility of delisting in the coming year.

RadioShack shares are trading up as much as 26 percent higher Friday, after hedge fund Standard General stated that it had drafted a plan to boost the company's near term liquidity for the Holiday shopping season.

In spite of stellar earnings in 2010, RadioShack was already showing signs of problems pertaining to its electronics business line.

It is also considering options like a sale of the company, a near-term recapitalization or debt restructuring.
