Suffice it to say, the last three years have been very painful as an owner of gold.

GLD remains in a Symmetrical Triangle, which gold bugs hope is not a typical Sym-Tri AKA continuation pattern.

Despite last week’s pullback, the precious metals market is off to an impressive start in 2014. Gold is up 10.6%, silver 4.3%, and the PHLX Gold/Silver (XAU) 17.1%.

Now that it appears clear the bottom is in for gold, it’s time to stop fretting about how low prices will drop and how long the correction will last—and start looking at how high they’ll go and when they’ll get there.
