SunEdison is proposing something entirely new: a YieldCo with a focus on projects in Africa and Asia, but it's a long way between an S-1 filing with the SEC and and IPO.

I wanted to find which S&P 400 Mid Cap stocks had the highest price appreciation in the past year. I used Barchart to sort the Index for those winners.

At the beginning of the third quarter of 2014, only the Large Cap Blend style earns an Attractive rating. My style ratings are based on the aggregation of my fund ratings for every ETF and mutual fund in each style.

Today I used Barchart to sort the S&P 400 Mid Cap Stock Index to see which stocks were the YTD winners.
