The Dollar was showing some continuing strength today, as the DX index ran up to just short of the 96 handle.

While the market is treading water, the Utilities and Energy sectors finished strongly.

Metals UOA also materialized in a mixed day with the S&P 500 finishing higher alongside the VIX.

PayPal is rising after reporting quarterly results that weren’t too impressive. The company also said people would be able to use Venmo on Amazon.

Stocks were on another risk on rally today, with the SP and NDX making new highs again.
