ADRs Best & Worst

The best scoring ADRs from one year ago (11/11/2013) returned an average 5.27 %, 5.90% better than the MSCI EAFE index (EFA). The best performing from our list one year ago have been SIG up 61%, GGAL up 55%, SHPG up 47%, and YPF up 46%.

The average score across our ADR universe this week is 48.12, above the four week moving average score of 47.54. The average ADR is trading -22.26% below its 52 week high, -5.42% below its 200 dma, has 3.55 days to cover held short, and is expected to post EPS growth of 18.11% next year.

The best scoring ADR sector is services (SIG, OMAB, ASR, ZNH, PAC, GSH, CEA, RYAAY, ICLR), followed by consumer goods (FBR, TTM, AMCRY, IBA, CAAS, NSRGY, BTI) and healthcare (RDY, WX, FMS, TEVA, RHHBY, NVS). Financials score in line. Industrial goods, utilities, technology, and basic materials score below average.

The top scoring zone is the Middle East (NICE, TEVA), followed by North America (RY, BCE, BMO). The best regions are MENA, North America, and Latin America (OMAB, ASR, GGAL, BMA, FBR, PAC, BAP, BFR, IBA, BAK). The top scoring countries are Mexico (OMAB, ASR, PAC, IBA, AMX, CX), Hong Kong (SMI, HKTV), Argentina (GGAL, BMA, BFR, TEO), and Israel (NICE, TEVA).
