Has Apple Watch Production Been Pushed Back?

There was some noise emanating from Brian Blair of Rosenblatt Securities saying they believe at Rosenblatt that Apple Watch production is experiencing setbacks due to more tinkering to get it right by Apple (AAPL)

The original plan was to release the Apple Watch in November, in time for Christmas holidays, but now it appears it may be released as late as January 2015.

We believe this is what suppliers into the watch are preparing in inventory for shipment to Quanta, who will be manufacturing the watch. (SourceBrian Blair

InvenSense (INVN), Broadcom (BRCM), GT Advanced (GTAT), and Integrated Device Technology (IDT) are all suppliers for the watch, which Rosenblatt performs regular supply chain checks. And from this data, one would suspect that Rosenblatt understands what’s going on…although, there hasn’t been any official proclamation that this speculation is backed by any observable data. As Blair thinks an initial volume of production could be 15 million, units.
