I used Barchart to sort the S&P 600 Small Cap Index stocks to find the stocks that have the best technical buy signals and are trading above their 20, 50 and 100 day moving averages.

Small Caps have been under performing the overall market lately. The S&P 600 Small Cap Index is down 11.17% from its previous high on July 1. The Weighted Alpha of the Index is -3.87 and the Relative Strength Index is only 29.36%.

Small Caps have had a hard time recently so I wanted to see if any were having a good day. Indeed there were: Epiq Systems, Symmetry Medical, Vicor, Vasco Data Security International, and Marriot Vacations Worldwide.
